Making these for my therapist who worked/ works with me for six months after shoulder surgery.
When I asked her, her favorite color, she said black as it makes getting dressed easy ( no worry about matching outfits).
I wanted to make these extra special and was glad to find these beautiful black yarns in my stash. I will use the angora for the ribbing, adding ribbing before the bind off and in the thumb. And the cashmere will be for the body of the mitt.

She has tiny hands!
Can’t wait to get these done and give them to her.

Made the following changes:
ktbl both first sts on front ( middle st of thumb gusset) and back ( to that one I changed the two surrounding sts to purls).

I put the 11 thumb gusset sts on hold and worked ribbing for 3 rounds.

Insted of decreasing to 24 sts in rnd 31, I increased 1 stitch by the thumb gusset to 26, knitted 6 rounds plain, then changed to ribbing for two rounds , changed to #6 needles and the angora yarn, worked one morw round of ribbing and then BO using Jenny’s strechy bind off.

Woke up 4:30am this morning and finished them. Now I just need to wash them before gifting.
