Notes

I had just finished the Fisherman’s Cowl and was thinking I’d love a hat like this when I looked through my stash.

The two yarns were gifts and I like the way they look together. They are very close in color and may very well not show up as two color brioche. I am hoping that it will show very subtly that these are two different colors, but even if not, it will still have that Squooshiness and warmth.
The Chinese Waitress cast on was new for me and it took me a few attempts, but I am always for learning something new and am happy that I persevered.
I found this video to be best to learn the Chinese Waitress Cast on ( Click on the link).

I actually messed up about 1 1/2 inches in and used the same yarn on consecutive rows, probably because they do look similar, but I was able to fix it !!! This is usually an impossible feat, but I did it and am back on track. It is coming along nicely with just the right amount of contrast.

Came out really nice; same size as my my go-to hat, Hat of Soft Cables.
I am sure to wear this one a lot, too.
