Something useful for the home.

My crocheting is a bit rusty and it took me a few pattern repeats to get the hang of things, but then it’s a little bit addictive. Nice easy pattern, swiftly done for the swiffer.

It all started with me needing something easy to work on during the knitting circle holiday party. At thattime I picked up my crochet hook and some cotton yarn and made a washcloth. After that I wondered why I am making any washcloths ( I think I have too many!)
Next thing I knew , I was making this. I am a bit rusty with my crochet and it is not usually my preferred craft, but I started to get into it and finally started to see a place for crochet.
The way I see it , it is really good for anything which doesn’t need to be too drapey. Anything where you don’t want too much stretch, but a solid fabric which doesn’t easily loose shape.
I am quite happy with my swiffer cover and wonder: what’s next?
