I knitted these socks for a toe -up sock knitting class I gave. Later I decided they came out so nice that I wanted to give them to my sister :) Her hands and feet are always cold. She is very happy with them; best present yet!!!

I like this method of “toe up”; the increases are easier to remember without having to check the pattern and in this pattern you don’t have to pick up stitches along the heel flap; all in all a faster method. The only thing I don’t like in this pattern is the cast on at the toe which is seamed in the end. I will use “Judy’s magic cast on“ in my next pair.
