Notes

During the knit in public Day summer of 2011 I saw one woman working on a project in Tunisian crochet and I was quite fascinated by the technique. My neighbor, “kittinmanic”, taught me with this pattern. Once you get the hang of it, it is quite fun (Thank you, Marie!)
Quite early on I thought to myself that I won’t really wear a skinny scarf, so I made two pieces approximately 3” wide by 20” long which I will join together into a cowl. I joined them with a couple of rows of simple chain stitches, put on a few buttons and am VERY pleased with the outcome! I can button it up completely or leave a few buttons open, so it is very versatile and doesn’t mess up my hair when putting it on and taking it off ;) The color of the yarn looks rather different in different light that’s why I posted so many pictures.
