I’ve been promising my sister I would knit her something for a long time now. After trying to knit something out of the yarn I used for all the wedding shawls, I decided I wanted something… not blue. I had this yarn in my stash, and decided I wanted to play with new patterns. This is the result!

9/4/2012 - I’ve been making ever so slow progress on this beautiful item. I knitted up the first four repeats in a flash, but this last repeat has spanned over a month mostly due to overdue work projects and the sudden need to knit all things baby. Luckily Holly is patient.
