Did gauge swatch and went up a needle size to get gauge.

Nice, well-written pattern of course. Keep making silly errors and have to double count stitches to make sure I haven’t accidentally decreased on the lace rows! Definitely need to pay better attention and not be so involved watching my favourite British mystery shows ;)

Holy cow! I keep making errors causing me to tink back rows and rows I HATE making mistakes. But especially when I don’t know how to fix them, like in the lace portion or just as bad, on the icord edge. I’m going to have to learn how to fix these mistakes so I can wrap my head around it If I can go down like 30 rows x 8 sts to fix a cable I should be able to figure it out!

Decided to go with an accent colour and used a pale icy grey which I think looks fantastic!

Finally got through all that lace and used markers every 20 stitches to keep myself in check.

The whole shawl looks amazing and I love the way it came out. Didn’t make the dimensions as specified but it is definitely big enough and the lace sections keep it nice and airy.

Pattern was so well written and easy to follow. Can’t wait to try one of Isabell’s sweater patterns next!
