Nice pattern!

Pretty easy to follow, even though I added two stitches to one sleeve but not the other (following the increase rounds after the first section kept me on my toes as every other increase round was only increasing on the front and back but not the sleeves!). So irritating! Will pay better attention from here on out :) NOTE Ended up ripping back a bit fix the above error, plus added more stitches to the sleeve sections by just following the first increase rounds a few more times before the “just increasing in the front/back sections” rounds.

Oct 22 - Finished the body (did it in the round) and used long tail sewn tubular bind off. Looks great!

Nov 10 - Finished and I love it!

MODS

  • Due to using bigger needles and yarn, did the xs/s size to fit medium for body but added stitches to the sleeves for a looser fit by following for the m/l size

  • Knit body and sleeves in the round

  • Did a full 1x1 rib hem instead of splitting it

  • Didn’t do any decreases to the sleeves until just before the 1x1 ribbing for the cuffs. Because I had 74 sts per sleeve, I did two decrease rounds to get the stitch count to 46 sts. with the first decrease round taking care of most of the decreases and the second doing the last two st decreases while also setting the 1x1 rib pattern. This gave it a nice puffed sleeve appearance at the cuff with a loose straight upper sleeve.
