The Tendo Shawl is a nice project for advanced beginners to learn or practice short rows. For good knitters the pattern is still challenging enough as a project for travel and relaxed knitting. The color changes keep knitting interesting and due to the short rows the shawls knits up quickly towards the end.

2 cones ITO Kinu Main Color
1 cones ITO Kinu Contrast Color
2 cakes each of ITO Sensai in 3 complementary colors

The shawl is worked with two strands of yarn held together throughout, 1 strand ITO Sensai and 1 strand ITO Kinu. The yarns are combined as follows:
Color 1: ITO Kinu #395 Grass & ITO Sensai #306 Lemon
Color 2: ITO Kinu #395 Grass & ITO Sensai #337 Lime
Color 3: ITO Kinu #390 Blueberry & ITO Sensai #339 Lilac

Color Options :
* To work the shawl in a single color
only, you need 2x ITO Kinu and 4x ITO
Sensai altogether.
* To work the scarf with a base color in
ITO Kinu and changing colors in ITO
Sensai you will need: 2x ITO Kinu of
one color and 6x ITO Sensai - two per
color.
* To work the scarf with a base color in
