What I did wrong and what I learned from this:

• Next time I will cast on with Turkish cast on (instead of a regular provisional cast on) for a seamless heel.
• MOST importantly, next time I will not fold and shape the footies before felting!!! This can cause uneven felting, which happened to one of the footies, but I was fortunately able to even it out.

This yarn is great for felting and is a perfect alternative to the yarn used in the pattern. It was my first time ever (wet) felting, and because the pattern does not instruct how to felt, to me it was like doing it blindfolded and just hoping for the best. However, they turned out perfect. I washed them with detergent without whitening enzymes on 40 degrees celsius for 2 h and 34 min with a 1600 spin cycle.

They fit my 3-year old daughter perfectly.
