Modifications
I’m only folding the brim once, thus just doing the 3-row double knit section one time. This way the fabric is two-layered instead og three. I also did a tubular cast on.

This hat is for my 3 year old daughter. She will wear it under her bicycle helmet, so it cannot be too bulky.

I think it’s a really clever detail with the double knit section, and I love the squishy fabric! It will be so cozy and nice for her to wear.
