Notes

Trying out double weaving in plaid! I have a 4-shaft loom, so no complex patterns if you only get 2 shafts for each side of the cloth. This was made as a baby blanket for a friend.

4 colors of 5/2 cotton from Webs. Lime green, heather (light periwinkle blue), porcelain green, and ink blue. Colors were unintentionally similar to the quilt square I made for the same baby in a community quilt project.

I sett it at 24 epi on loom for 12 epi once unfolded. It ended up feeling a little loose but will likely go through the washer and drier several times in its life. I might go for 15/30 next time.

I tried spacing the right selvedge fold a little farther apart so that it wouldn’t scrunch too much. Mildly successful but you could tell if you held up up to the light.
