Nov 4th - Will order the yarn today from Len’s they have the best price.Nov 18th. Picked up the yarn, Have to finish Corinne’s cardi first.
Dec 1 - swatched 24st to 4” in pattern on 3.25 mm.
Casting on 288 for body (K3, P1) for rib 2.75” deep.
Make one every 24 stitches to 300 stitches
Knitting body in pattern with circulars to armhole shaping.
Dec 17th: Five and a half panels then divide for the armhole decrease.
Dec 23rd: Finished the back and well into the front. Obviously I am not going to finish this before Christmas. He is OK with that. Will try and get at least one sleeve finished by the end of the month.
Dec 25th: finished the body.
Dec 26th: cast on 69 st for sleeve, K2,(P1,K3) 16, P1, K2 That way the seam will disappear in the ribbing. I only use a half of the edge stitch when I sew up.
Jan 1st finished the first sleeve this morning. Going to take a break for a few days to fill a doll request, Expect to be back at the second sleeve by Saturday.
Jan 5th: Casting on second sleeve.
Jan 14th: weaving in ends and sewing in sleeves. Just have the neck ribbing after that and it will be finished. Whew.
