BUT It did turn out into a beautiful hat: nice to knit, warm and pretty. Sizing seems on-the-spot with this pattern. What id there not to like. The weather outside is -20 C in Central Finland today so I have a lot of use for a warm wool hat. I love it. Great pattern!
