This is a pleasantly easy pattern to follow: I’ve been making this whilst commuting around London, and am almost completed after 4 hours (including having to stop to transfer trains, busses and tubes).

I’ve made this in slate grey and green, so Cthulhu is quite subtle. Just hope this works when I’ve finished.

The bag looks fine but the colours I chose were too subtle to see Cthulhu. Think I’ll keep this one as a spare and make a new one in black & green instead.

2nd attempt: rebirth of Cthulhu Dice Bag 23 October 2012

Decided to start this again in black and green as 1st attempt was too subtle, though cute in its own way. Purchased black acrylic DK yarn and cast on as of this morning. Almost completed 2nd version within 2 days - just got the i-chording to complete now. It works far better in black and green.
