This design is absolutely revolution in knitting and will tale your skills on the higher level. In same time pattern is very detailed and take you through step by step. pattern has lots of photos and links to video. Nothing to be scared.
I knitted my sweater in DK weight yarn held together with one strand of kidsilk mohair. To make knots in slightly different color I changed only mohair color and knitted knots area with same color of DK weight but different color mohair strand.
I use same size of needles and simply follow the pattern. My suggestions to weave in ends as you go, but, please, check instruction how to close gapes behind the knots.
