I knitted my cardigan with slightly thinner yarn and my stitch gauge is totally off but row gauge is fine. Because pattern has lots of easy fit I ended with cardigan which fit me perfectly. I will not recommend to follow me here, better to be safe and try to find yarn which give you right gauge. I don’t need to tell you how beautiful this design, but knitting is not less interesting - stranded colourwork, ladder back jacquard stitches, steek.
Only changes I did - 1x1 ribbing, I didn’t simply so K1, P1
R1 (RS) sl1wyib, P1 - to last stitch, sl1wyib
R2 (WS) P1, K1 - to the end
Repeat two rounds till you have desired length
I tried simple 1x1 ribbing but because my yarn is thinner - ribbing was looking to lose for my liking
I made 3 stitches buttonholes (7 in total) - I follow Zanete’s instruction (pattern includes link to video instruction

I added beads to colorwork as little stamens of flower
