Notes

Like tinsel added as a finishing touch on a Christmas tree, this curved triangular shawl will add that oh-so-awesome touch of glitz and glam to any outfit.

Knit this shawl from the top center, with three sets of increases to fan out the shape into a semi-circle. The two side eyelet increase sets are then shifted to the edges when the lace pattern is started, creating the final curved triangular shape that allows this shawl to cascade quite elegantly at the tapered ends.

The lace pattern is a fairly simple, and very open, stitch pattern that complements the beauty of the glimmery silver yarn.

Knitted up nicely in the Rowan Kidsilk Haze Eclipse from my stash, but would easily look great in Elann Silken Kydd, DROPS Kidsilk, Knitpicks Aloft, Debbie Bliss Angel, etc. Those yarns don’t have the metallic thread, but would be great for beading?
