Notes

An incredibly gorgeous yarn that begged to be knit up! But I had to find the right combo of stitch patterns AND I needed a project to take along with me anywhere…

Et voila! I call it Marine Layers. The depth of colors are able to display themselves quite nicely and complement (not compete!) with the two different stitch patterns.

I started with a chunky border in an interesting (but easy to memorize) rib. Then, seamlessly transitioned into a pretty lace. The lace is surprisingly easy to learn after some repeats… you can see where it’s going and can rely less and less on the chart/pattern. Exactly what I needed anytime I had to wait.
