Notes

I had this leftover hank from a sweater and just love the color. I wanted to see if I could make an easy, quick-knit shawl with a simple combo of Garter and lace.

Here it is!

The Lace is a lovely open motif that is only an 8-row rep. This means the size of this shawl is easily increased with additional 8-row reps.

I did just the 4 reps in order to not have to go over 1 hank. Blocking aggressively and pinning out the BO edge very specifically to highlight the natural peaks made the finished shawl perfect!

I also BO using a bigger needle, which really helps.

The Penumbra color is gorgeous!

This was such a quick knit shawl, I’ll easily make another if I have a lonely hank of hand-dyed fingering-weight.
