I bought these 2 batts hoping to turn them into some kind of wrap. Saw the pattern on the front of Crochet Now and decided it looked perfect :o)

I crocheted each set of squares as I spun each bobbin of yarn. They looked very wobbly to start with but thankfully all blocked sensibly at the end.

I joined them by sewing with one of the threads - I hate sewing squares together but I wasn’t sure I had enough yarn to join and add a border.

The border really helped bring it together and the blocking made a world of difference.

Wore it to Yarndale and finally bought a shawl pin to replace the safety pin I had been using ;o)
