I’m working on the premise that Kureyon is listed as an Aran weight yarn and that King Cole is generally thinner than other yarns for the same ‘grade’, so that King Cole Chunky will be around the same as Noro Aran. I should do a test swatch really, but I figure if it comes out a bit big, Sprout will grow into it.

It became apparent that I would have maybe about half to two thirds of a ball left over of each dye option and especially with the monsoon the pink and purple areas which made me like the shade were the ones left on the ball at the end. I didn’t see any point keeping these “scraps”, so I added a pouch-style pocket on the front as shown in the Day 7 photo. It saves on waste and it also covers over one of the duller/darker areas with nice bright colours.

Likewise used a blue/purple/pink section of yarn for the neckband even though I should have used the Contrast colour according to the pattern instructions.
