Notes

Using not a lot of varigated cotton yarn and a bright lime green cotton yarn so that I could distinguish between stitches, this project was surprisingly not as complicated as I thought it was.

The pattern is written a little confusing at first, especailly between the “Versions”, luckily it sort of made sense. It was easier to knit using two balls so that you could pick up the stitch for the little sleeves for the ipod to tuck into for holding. You sort of need it to be double knitted, unless you like and chance the ipod falling out or against your clammy skin while working out.

I knitted, CO 28 sts with size 3mm needles - I believe, and it was snug but not enough to be a problem. I had washed it lightly and let it dry over night around a hard plastic cups we have and it stretched it, made it ideal for me to work out with.

I didn’t think I’d like it around my lower arms but it feels like it should be okay, I’ll find out tomorrow when I work out with it. Saved me forty bucks from buying an actual one that may or may not have fitted or showed the screen.

I’m not a BIG work out person so I’m not yet sweating in rivers - which I strongly dislike. Oh and it knits up pretty quick if you have a evening alone or am quicker knitter then this should be ideal for you and gifting for others that may use this, or have a nano.

Enjoy.
