Notes

The blank that comes with the Craftsy class is really good for this basic pullover.

This is the first time I did the hems round the sleeves and bottom (I hand knit the neckband as I preferred that look). First time doing neck shaping, first time doing fully -fashioned increases (sleeves) and decreases (neck).

Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out on my machine how to get some needles to hold while knitting on other needles and I managed to drop all the stitches just as I started the neck decreases. I put them back on and continued but you can see where it happened. Maybe it will block out?

I really think I should just buy a new mast tensioner- this one seems to have a single tension and I spend a lot of time managing the feed-in tension by hand. This is the critical thing I have found- the stitches at the ends of the rows tend to get tighter and then pop off, I have to keep a close eye on them and adjust things manually to keep them behaving well. Overall the machine is knitting beautifully though and I really love it.

I used the bind off/sew pieces up together technique in the video and wow, it’s so neat. I will probably sew hand knits together like this in the future! It took a long time but when it’s done, it’s done.
