I made the fingering weight version many years ago. I use it all the time when temps dip. With it being cold and damp today, I decided I needed a heavier version. Luckily I had what I needed in my stash.

11/8/15 I finished the center rectangle. I went out toget a couple of different color skeins for the border.. One of the yarns was oak tweed. I thought it would look much better as a center so I started a second one

Bought a Craftsy class from Gundrun and learned that traditionally the border was dark to light to dark. I might have done it differently. It is going to be so toasty warm because it is thick.
