27-03-2010: I wanted to knit the original Birch Leaf pattern, but was a bit worried about casting on almost 300 stitches and having only 1 skein of this colorway. So I dicided to look for another pattern and save this one for later. And then I stumbled upon this bottom-up version; perfect! That’s just the way I want to knit this. Just start with a few stitches and keep increasing till there is no yarn left.

31-03-2010: I’ve reached 14 Leaf’s now, and knitting is going slower all the time ;-)
This is a very easy pattern. After a few repeats you know it by heart. The result is lovely.

10-04-2010: Finished knitting! Will block and take pictures tomorrow.
