12/5/16: It is finished. And it’s lovely. But. I would have liked it still bigger! Maybe I knit too tight? Next time I would use bigger needles and even more pattern repeats. But it was a lot of fun to knit. And maybe it will stay a bit larger after blocking.

9/5/16: Finished chart 3. This is so much fun. I always thought knitting with beads was very complicated, but it is not! And the result is very pretty.

7/5/16: Yes! 259 stitches: time for the fun to begin…

5/5/16: The first part of this shawl is not very exiting to knit. It’s just knitting and purling an ever in reasing number of stitches. But even though I cannot wait for the fun part to begin; the lace section, with beads (I’ve never done beads in knitting before), I have decided tongo for the larger 259 stitches version. I want my shawl not just to be pretty (and I’m sure it will be), but also functional and therefor BIG. And I have two skeins of this yarn anyway, so why not be extravagant :-D Just three more repeats to go…

4/5/16: I ordered yarn for another shawl from Boo Knits, but then I got a message that there was a delay. And I just couldn’t wait So I cast on this one with yarn from my stash, in another pattern. Good practice!
