7 colors in scraps of crochet cotton size 10.
For the edging to the jacket, I started at the bottom left front so that when I did the 2nd row I could chain 2 and do the front edging without having to fasten off and tuck in more ends. Directions call for starting on back center for first row and start at right front edge for second row. I am left-handed and that is why I started at the bottom left front.
There are a LOT of ends to tuck in. It says to use invisible thread for joining but I used the ends to seam and then tucked them in. Using the ends to seam the panels together worked really well. I used white to seam the sleeves to the jacket.
