This is a project intended to help me better understand short-row colorwork.

Things that I’ve learned so far and want to remember:

• Get used to and remember beginning and ending of rows treatment.
• BC means “base color”.
• For the color changes: If they were over 1-2 ribs, I just carried the yarn along. Otherwise, left tails to weave in “Stephen Weavin” style.
• For the first section I followed the written instructions, and I think that now I understand the charts. Tried to read from the charts starting second chart, and everything makes perfect sense and goes fast (numbers are a bit small, but that’s why we have pdfs, right?)

No new techniques learned, but I think this project is a great way to get acquainted with a new method! The pattern is very detailed and impressively accurate.
