Notes

Stash busting … even if it is just one (gorgeous!) ball.

Needles: Knit Picks Double Pointed Caspian

  • I worked the largest size to get some comfy boot socks … it turned out perfectly.
  • I added a few rows to the heel flap for a slightly higher instep.
  • Since the yarn already comes with a lot of color, I replaced the Checkerboard section with purl and knit.
  • I used up pretty much all of one ball to make the pair of socks.

Little details I like:

  • The cable along the back of the leg … down the heel (very nice when wearing sandals)
  • The ribbing on the top goes all the way to the end. The bottom of the sock is all smooth … very comfortable.

Two thumbs up for this pattern: Easy and quick to make, at the same time there’s always something fun to do … perfect!
