These candy corn pillows make a cute home decoration for the fall season!

Color red, 26 yards, weave 2 hexagons
Color yellow, 39 yards, weave 3 hexagons
about 1/2 yard of backing fabric (I used a stretchy velvet)
sewing machine
matching sewing thread
stuffing
Material for the medium pillow (with the original TURTLE Loom):
Color white, 12 yards
Color red, 24 yards
Color yellow, 36 yards
stuffing
Notes for making the pillows:
Use the photos to assemble the hexagons in candy corn fashion.
For the medium sized candy corn, make two sides the same and sew them together, leaving a small opening at the end. Stuff and close the opening.
For the large sized candy corn, assemble the top, then secure it - right sites facing - on the backing fabric. Sew along the outline of the candy corn with wide zig-zag stitching (widest setting), leaving a small opening at the end. Turn and stuff. Close the opening.
Tie quilting for both sizes:
Thread your weaving needle with a yarn end, color is your choice. At each intersection of three hexagons, stitch through the pillow from the front to the back, then turn and stitch back to the front, about 1/8” apart from where the yarn first came out. Make a knot and tighten it so that the pillow is puffy around the knot. Make another knot to secure, then clip off the ends. Repeat for each intersection. Use the photo as guidance.
Tip: If you like brighter, more traditional colors for your candy cane pillows, you could use Berroco Ultra Wool 3300 Snow (white), 3350 Chili (red), and 3312 Butter (yellow).
