It is all Mirrix’s fault … If they would not organize such a great summer weaving challenge I would a) not have tried weaving beads on the Turtle Loom, and b) not tried to turn those beaded heart hexagons into something to GIVE. At least not right now. The idea had been on my list.

In this first method, I’m adding the beads to the “warp” strings and then sliding them into place as I weave the center section, two “weft” strings between bead rows.

In addition to the yarn you will need 46 beads per hexagon, I used size 6 Czech Glass Beads.

For the glass ornaments I used Darice glass disc ornaments, 3.15” (80 mm) diameter.
