You will also need a medium size crochet hook, scissors, and a tapestry needle (as well as lots of good chocolate).
These purses are easy to make, use the photos to guide you as needed. Weave one hexagon on the original TURTLE Loom.
After you take the hexagon off the loom, secure and weave in the starting thread, then secure and weave the ending thread through two sides of the hexagon as shown.
Pull in the yarn until a little “O” ring forms. Secure and weave in the end. Weave a separate yarn end through the opposite two hexagon sides. Pull in the yarn ends until a little “O” ring forms. Secure and weave in the ends.
Now, with a contrast color, work single crochet stitches through the top loops of the remaining two sides, starting at one of the “O”s. There will be about 14-16 stitches all around. Close the round with a slip stitch.
Crochet the handle by working about 20 chain stitches, then slip stitch to the opposite side of the purse. Cut the yarn and pull it through the last loop, then weave in the end.
Enjoy!
