Notes

Seeing the new Sousse color of Medina this spring was love at first sight. But I also had ordered one skein of Farro, to try it out. When those two were next to each other on the table … I decided that my Villa needed stripes!

Modification notes:

  • I made the Lower Band one size smaller, to get a better fit. Then, after picking up the stitches for the body, I increased the number of stitches to the next bigger size.
  • Stripes: I started after 10 rows. Each stripe is 2 rows. Between stripes after that there are 20 rows. I did not switch needle size … Farro/stripes were just fine. I did not do the last stripe near the shoulders, that was too “busy”.
  • I added some length to the body … 20 rows.
  • I went up one size for the sleeve opening. I chose 42” because I did not want the width for the tee. But I still wanted a little wider sleeve opening, I think I went for the 7 1/2”.
