Planning on using this applied i-cord bind-off to finish the blanket.

CO 49 st for each square on 2.75mm needles.
With my gauge this works out to be a 4”x4” square.
Purling the backside of the center double decreases.
Using this tutorial for tips in joining the mitered squares.

Also, I am slipping purlwise--with the yarn held in front--the first stitch of every row and knitting through the back loop the last stitch of every row in an attempt to make the pickup edges more smooth and easier to work with.

Out of curiosity, I decided to measure my work on #10 -- started w/ 109.5 g ended with 103.5 g for a total of 6 g used for square

The first squares in my blanket are a tribute to my first sock muse, Sunshine Yarns; still a favorite choice for me to return to time and time again. Such fond memories of past projects are tied to these little squares. :)
