The lighting in my hotel room sucks, but I got a great start last night. I was able to make it to the main body motif. This will definitely require some blocking!

Also, it became obvious that my little remnants that I had planned for Maroon were not going to last for all 3 of the braids, so I decided to keep the Brick as a substitute for Red, but am using a different Maroon sub each braid:
Braid 1: Rauma 3 ply Strikkegarn Burgundy
Braid 2: Rauma 3 ply Strikkegarn Dark Red
Braid 3: Rauma 3 ply Strikkegarn 127

Am about halfway thru the body and am feeling like this motif is pulling in on itself. Even though this is 100% wool, I’m not certain blocking will completely help

Was not at all happy with the tension issue, so ripped back and fixed it by simply knitting looser

Turned the heel and am starting the foot!

Finished the toe and need to weave in ends & knit a hanger!
