I think at eleven years of marriage I am safe making my man a freaking sweater. It will be the man sweater of destiny. ( Calling it that that will subconsciously trick me into feeling the fate of the universe rides on the sweater being completed, which will motivate me to conquer the man sweater stitch counts. I’ve never made a garment for anyone over 5’4.
Modifications:

I knit two inches of ribbing for the neckline
Knit 20” arms, increased every 9 rows
Knit 19” body
I used a dk mini skein palette off the TFA website for the yoke. I have enough left over for another Crazyheart yoke if I invert the colors!
