The highlight of my family’s visit to Amsterdam this spring was a trip to Stephen and Penelope to ogle the yarn and its yarn bombed bike followed by an afternoon trip to the Keukenhof. I read the book of Westknits patterns on the train, and my kids helped me pick this pattern. So it is a shawl/souvenir.

I knit the size small with no modifications. I added the third color to the border after a very epic meet and greet with Stephen West hosted by my local yarn shop! The shawls from the book were there too! Everyone was amazingly kind, I usually am far too shy to enjoy those type of things, but this was lovely and amazing and sparkly.
