02/05: Cast on 60 stitches in the black on size 1 needles. Five rows seed stitch, 5 st seed stitch border on either side, plain stockinette on the rest. Working from the top down, backwards, on the lettering.

02/11: Lettering complete, now just knitting endless stockinette in black on small needles. Can’t do that in a movie theater, BTW. I am knitting the lilac separately and embroidering it on afterwards, hoping to add some depth. Ditto leaves.

02/19: At long last, completion! I like the way it turned out, mostly, and need to steam block it. Yarn quantities used are approximate.
