This is one of the limited edition short skeins colorways, which was supposed to be 90 grams. When I weighed my skeins (I got 2 to be safe) they were 111 and 113 grams! I’ve got a ton left over now for something else :)

She asked for brown or gray, and as soft as possible. Otherwise, she wanted the yarn to be a surprise. I think these will turn out lovely!

Swatched on 4s and I got 21 1/2 sts over 4”. Gauge was 5 1/2 sts over an inch, so it was just about perfect. I knit these per the directions for size small, except I did m1s at the thumb gusset per the size medium directions. I also decreased the length of the thumbs by knitting just 2 rows before doing the purl ridge pattern and BO.

BTW, these were so fast! They were completely finished last night except for the couple of rows for the thumbs. I ended up doing those this morning on the way to breakfast. Gotta love a project that’s finished in little more than 24 hours!
