11 December 2021: I love this thing. I have enough yarn for one more flower repeat (at least), and knitting this was so rhythmic and meditative that I probably could’ve done it. But I knew that I wanted an icord edge and I also knew that one more repeat would’ve meant more stitches for icord which would’ve broken me. So I stopped when I did.

Mods: no border pattern. Used lighter weight yarn, so I had to knit more repeats to get a decent sized shawl. Added 2-color icord all around which just about killed me.

Depth: 28”

Why I love knitting with coned yarn — less ends to weave in!

Might add tassels later.

10 December 2021: off the needles. Washed and now pinned.

5 December 2021: rows are getting super long.

I would also like to add an i-cord all the way around, and add tassels.

Garter tab cast-on (c/o 2, knit a few rows to pick up 3 sts, then pick up 2 sts from c/o edge, to get 7 sts on needle).
