I wanted to make a bat costume for my dog, but I’m new to crochet so I looked online for inspiration. I found Crochet Guru’s easy-to-follow Bumble Bee Dog Costume video and learned how dog sweaters are basically constructed. The doggie snood with bat ears I freeformed, and the wings were inspired by Monster Crochet’s Vampire Bat pattern.
