A LACE DUMMIES MEMO NOTES
You knit the lace pattern on every row. (And yes, it looks really weird in the beginning with the YO:s.) If you knit one row straight in between the lace repeats, your “shells” will look veeery long and thin.

Forget about the white stuff on the right in chart B. It’s just there to look nice. The white does not mean that you shoud k those stitches. Ignore them and pretend you never ever seen them.

Picked up this project a week ago and suddenly everything about the pattern is obvious. Finished the second half sock and the second sock in express time.

After multiple froggings of the gusset, I’ll give up for this time. Will put it in a UFO bag and wait for a) extreme patients or b) an experienced knitter to come by.

Sometimes I struggle like a maniac and sometimes the knitting just flows. Wonder how that comes. However, I like the flow the most :)

FRUSTRATION! I will make another try, but then I let this knit go. There have been so many mistakes during just the short leg knit, that I simply don’t think it’s fun to knit anymore.
