Notes

Cast on 64 stitches for a 4-5-4; 4 repeats per side. 13x35” pre-blocked, 125 pins, 2 wires, 19.5”x60” blocked.

I have coveted this shawl since the day I first saw the pattern on Rav. A friend overdyed this yarn for me in the perfect green and I knew the stole and yarn would be a match made in heaven!

Tips: I found that it helped immensely to have two different types of stitch markers: regular ones to put between each repeat, and tiny ones for each section within the repeat. Doing this helped me keep things lined up perfectly, allowed me to find mistakes quickly, and helped me understand the way the pattern worked.

Thanks to KarenP for the tip on putting markers in the center stitch of each motif when picking up the provisional cast-on. I couldn’t get the pattern lined up, and this tip fixed that problem immediately!
