2.19.17 Did a gauge swatch and 3s feel perfect. To my joy, I’m getting gauge! So happy to finally be using this summery yarn in an appropriate project. I believe this garment will practically knit itself, after needing to do a long-tail cast on for 500 stitches twice. :P

2.24.17- making great progress! It’s delightfully mindless circular knitting for the next several inches.

3.29.18- after several starts and stops, I realized I couldn’t keep up the striping without knitting in the round, so I stopped at the armholes. I made the sleeves primarily of a contrast color since that’s what I had, and will make the collar either white or blue. It will be a little different, but hopefully harmonious!

4.13.18- And now… all done! It’s cute, though a bit shorter than I’d intended. I may see if one of my nieces would like it. Love the yarn for it- super stretchy and comfy.
