1.23.14 Did my gauge swatch last night as I wanted to be absolutely sure I’m using the correct size as I’m using a different weight yarn. The yarn is so beautiful!! Looking forward to checking my gauge after knitting up a few inches.

2.26.14 I waited until I’d knitted several inches again to triple check my gauge as I only have 3 skeins and there isn’t any more if I run out. I’m making this more closely fitted and shorted than the photo. The beauty of this pattern is the yoke, so you want the yarn to be extraordinary. This yarn is. The Menander Metalmark is such an exquisite mix of turquoise to rust with mossy olive and gorgeous.

4.8.14 Beautiful pattern, and this yarn is incredibly beautiful. What would make this the dreamiest sweater ever? This pattern in some kind of knit jersey yarn with spandex. LOL. A sweater to LIVE IN.

~ taking a few inches off the bottom
~ narrower all the way around to be sure I didn’t run out of yarn
~ slightly shorter yoke
