My first attempt at an Amineko. Using 4 ply yarn and a 3.5mm hook, looks like he’ll be pretty small!

I love this book and I’ll definitely make more of these.

The finished size is 9 and three quarter inches total length and 7 inches tall in a seated position.

Edit:
Have now made a second one. This time in DK yarn and he’s just a tiny bit bigger than the first, but not much. Was hurrying to finish him (for mum’s birthday!) and have put the legs and tail on in the wrong place so he doesn’t sit as well as my first.

Another edit:
The first one I made is the lighter blue one. Looking at the profile pictures I think the second one is over-stuffed in the body. He matches the picture in the book of the one with too much stuffing! The back should be more rounded, like the first (lighter coloured) one.
