I finished The Blanket!
This one appeals greatly to my data nerdiness. It is a year of temperatures, divided into the daily high (left) and low (right).
The width of the highs vs lows was the day length.
The colours are in a rainbow pattern, with 1 colour assigned per °c.
The blanket is, of course, 365 stitches wide.
And yes, that is a king sized bed.

What was the date range?

December 21st 2018 to December 21 2019

How many colours did you use?
I originally planned on 70 colours of Wool of the Andes (from +35 to -35c). I ended up using 63 of them because it never really got all that warm, and a couple at the lower range did not get used either

Where was the temperature taken?
I used the daily highs and lows from the Prince George, BC Airport. I did not change over when I traveled.

What is with the line in the middle
The left side is the daily high, the riight is the low. The curve represents day length (1 stitch for every 4 minutes of sunlight that day)

How big is it?

The completed picture is taken on a king-sized bed. Cat for scale.

How much yarn did you use?
Lots! It is pretty heavy, but I have not weighed it yet to figure out how much yarn I actually used.
