This just in: the upper one has been identified by the Niebling forum as http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gerberastrau from Burda 523, with an added border by the knitter.

April 2015

I recently bought some knitted lace pieces at an estate sale held by Marguerite Shimmons’s family (April 2015). I know she had every lace knitting pattern in existence (no, her patterns were not being sold) and knitted most of them. Does anybody know what these are?

The one on the pink background had a tag that said Lea LH 185-13, so that one is known (Lea Handarbeiten, I think).

The other two were coded only with her own catalog number: 35 for the top peony-like one, and 727 for the one with the sprays of blossoms. The two on green backgrounds are framed under glass, so I apologize for the reflections in the photos.
