Had to add pictures of these two “little girls”. Alice, my sister, has a Pillsbury Doughboy that I made for her a couple of years ago. Her “Doughboy” “wrote” to me as “Tia” and asked for a “girlfriend”.

This is what I came up with. Naturally, “he” asked for “boobies” on his girlfriend so I tried to modify the pattern I used originally. I added a sunbonnet, a scalloped edge for the apron hem and a ribbon as a bow. I added girlish eyelashes above her eyes.

So as I worked out this girlfriend, I thought Doughboy’s friend, Wheezy, penguin from Toy Story, might like a “girlfriend” also. I found a cute penguin pattern that I whipped up from stash yarn. I couldn’t modify it to make it “feminine”, but then, how can penguins look girlish? Oh well. Wheezy will have to be happy with these results.

I took pictures with a couple of stuffed animals I have. Yes, I keep them. Pooh bear is a perfect body pillow to hold to prevent my hands from “freezing up” at night. Bob the Minion is new to the collection.

I wish I had links to the patterns I used, but at least here are some pictures to enjoy.

As you can see, Alice has enjoyed Rosetta so much that she made an outfit for Rosetta. That’s the doughgirl’s name.

Alice is just as creative if not more so as she designs clothes in her spare time. She decided to add a spring outfit to her Rosetta’s wardrobe.
